〇中ノ島（海士町）の海岸
中ノ島（現在の海士町）にはいくつかの砂浜がありますが、自然に形成された砂浜はそれほど多くありません。その理由は、中ノ島が火山活動によって流れ出た溶岩が冷え固まることで形作られた島だからです。
このポストカードのモデルとなった「レインボービーチ」も、観光で訪れた方々が海水浴を楽しめるよう整備された人工のビーチです。
それでも海士町では、海岸沿いのいたるところで、透き通るような美しい海を眺めることができます。

The Coastline of Nakanoshima (Ama Town)
Although there are several beaches on Nakanoshima (present-day Ama), naturally formed sandy beaches are relatively rare. This is because the island itself was created by volcanic activity, as flowing lava cooled and hardened over time.
“Rainbow Beach,” which inspired this postcard, is also an artificial beach that was developed so visitors could safely enjoy swimming and relaxing by the sea.
Even so, all around Ama Town, you can find breathtaking views of remarkably clear blue water along the coastline.
